2012 Southern Region Oireachtas

The tentative schedule for the 2012 Southern Region Oireachtas will be similar to last year in terms of the days age groups compete.

• Friday, November 30, Boys and Girls: Under 8, Under 9, Under 10, Under 11, Under 12, Under 13
• Saturday, December 1, Men and Ladies: Under 18, Under 19, Under 20, 20 & over
• Sunday, December 2, Boys and Girls: Under 14, Under 15, Under 16, Under 17

Team competitions will be held on Saturday, December 1. Depending on the schedule, some smaller team competitions may be moved to Friday, but they would be consistent with those age groups already competing that day (Under 9, Under 12). This is NOT a final decision, but is being provided for planning purposes and will depend on a number of factors including number of registered dancers in these age groups.

Room reservation requests for the 2012 Southern Region Oireachtas will open at 12:00 a.m. EST on Sunday, March 11, 2012.

To book a room at the Marriott New Orleans via the internet, please follow the link below. Per the Marriott website, all reservations requests will require a credit card guarantee, and a one night non-refundable deposit at the time of the reservation.
