Message from the Regional Director: As we begin a new year, we want to congratulate all of those dancers, teachers and organizers who made the 2007 Southern Region Oireachtas in Atlanta a success. Congratulations also go to the dancers who have qualified to represent the Southern Region at the 2008 Oireachtas Rince Na Cruinne in Belfast this coming March, as well as those who qualified to attend the North American Irish Dance Championships in Nashville in July.

In the coming weeks, we will announce information on the 2008 Southern Region Oireachtas, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, December 6-7. The latest information on the Oireachtas will be available on our official 2008 web log at http://sro2008.blogspot.com.
